PROSPECT SUMMARY - GABE REID
Gabe Reid aligned as an OLB/EDGE defender for the Cardinal defense. He plays with average reactive athleticism with regards to his agility and body control. Against the run, he has limited effectiveness. He lacks the ideal length and power at the point of attack you’d ideally want in an edge defender. He shows limited pass rush ability on the edge and gives little value in that regard. He projects as an average special teams player due to his coverage speed, avoidability, and tackling ability in space.
Ideal Role: PUDFA/developmental player.
